McKently Malak Architects has been retained by Primestor Development to design a new shopping Center in Camarillo, CA. AMARA, the proposed center that fronts the 101 freeway, will contain 499,000 sqft of retail, specialty retail and restaurant uses. The white washed Southern Spain building design of AMARA are designed to create a hill town design with plazas, squares, paseos, and connecting alley ways. Great care in the selection of materials, colors, planting materials is underway to provide an authentic sense of place. The project will contain over 150,000 sqft of Majors and 200,000 sqft of specialty retail, restaurants and service stores. The project is slated to start construction 4th quarter of 2015.
