Arlington Square

Riverside, CA
A Project For Newmark Merril Companies

Constructed in 1962, this shopping center has never been updated or renovated to meet the demands of the changing retailing environment. McKently Malak Architects was commissioned to reposition the center for new retailing opportunities and improve the quality of the shopping experience with in it. The proposed redevelopment of the center will include the addition of two new pad buildings at the intersection of Madison and Arlington with a new plaza area for outdoor dining. Along the in-line portion of the center, a new Fresh & Easy market will anchor the westerly end of this 100,000sq ft center, and new contemporary facades will crown all the in line buildings and majors. A new clock tower will highlight the center as well as new landscape, hardscape, lighting and site amenities.
