Whittier, California

This previously shuttered Honda Dealership has been revitalized into a new retail and restaurant development. The building fronting Whittier Boulevard was the original show room of the dealership, it has been completely transformed into a modern Craftsman style structure with additions of towers , trellises, extensive outdoor patios and massive Craftsman style columns and oversized girders and lintels. A new drive through for Starbucks with a double lane approach flanks the easterly side of the building with massive trellis coverings and stepped landscaped walls. A second Craftsman style building was added to the site to complement the existing structure and provide additional dinning and retail opportunities to complement this mixture of uses within the development. The project has opened for occupancy mid 2017 with Grub Burger as the anchor tenant and has received many compliments from City officials as an example of future retail development fronting Whittier Boulevard.
