First Street at Indian Hill is a three-story office building incorporating ground-level retail which anchors the southeasterly corner of the Claremont Village Expansion redevelopment. The design of the building incorporates crisp contemporary elements and materials that tie to the industrial history of the site. The north portion of the building utilizes gridded storefront and metal spandrels to emphasis a “loft-like” aesthetic. The southern portion of the structure combines horizontal metal siding and steel canopies. The third level terraces, set back beyond the second floor, emphasize the line of the horizon with suspended awnings that mimic the many packing sheds that lined the adjacent railroad tracks in previous times.
