The project is situated at the Southern gateway of Porterville’s historic downtown area and sits on the lot where the 125-year-old Porterville Hotel once stood.  The new building will be a +/- 45,000 Square Foot 3-Story Mixed-Use building built primarily with a SIPS panel system.

The Cornerstone building is set to bring back life to the once prominent corner by enhancing the surrounding downtown district with its future retail and restaurant tenants planned for the ground level. The upper floors will house the County Of Tulare’s District Attorneys and Public Defenders office.  The addition of the county offices to the downtown area will help bring more business to the areas existing mom and pop retail and restaurant business and will provide increased pedestrian activity from the new county offices to the recently built county courthouse.

The downtown is experiencing a revitalization movement, and the Cornerstone Building will be the catalyst for future larger development and improvements in the Porterville area.
