Designed as urban infill, this multilevel project encompasses two levels of below-grade parking and two levels of retail. The urban frontage of the project is designed for multiple retail and restaurant opportunities fronting both Sunset Boulevard and Gardner Street. The primary entrance to the second-floor market is at the intersection of the project with a grand lobby that boasts elevators, escalators and grand stair set to the upscale market on the second floor. The design of the infill project is reminiscent of other Federal-style buildings in the neighborhood that are clad with brick exteriors and punctuated with rhythmic window patterns. The project design encompasses large arched windows that allow light and visibility to the second-floor market while the ground floor spaces are designed to mimic the design of individual storefront openings of past time with high glass lines and transom window designs devised by steel column surrounds. Construction will commence by the second quarter of 2018, with occupancy slated by mid-2019.
